There are various causes for different dysfunctions and disorders in the body. Research has helped to discover many of the causes connected with heart disease and further studies into this area are conducted. However, at present these conditions are commonly known. They include  stress, smoking, obesity, hypertension, high cholesterol and lack of exercise.

It is true that there are a great deal of people who have almost all of these mentioned conditions and they somehow live for many years. However, it is surely not a wise idea to take a health for granted, as a heart attack can hit anyone, at any time, and often occurs when it is not expected at all. Heart attacks result from actions of stress and cholesterol that catch on a person as silent but merciless assassins. Obviously, stress may be detected as a person can feel it. But if it’s about cholesterol — people often do not feel that something is wrong with it.

CHOLESTEROL:
Cholesterol build up takes place little by little. A slim person may also have lots of cholesterol deposits on the arteries’ walls. This sort of condition causes blockage, resulting in weakened blood flow in numerous parts of the body. The most crucial parts of the body where this may occur are the arteries that deliver blood to the cardiac muscles.

SMOKING:
Another debilitating factor to the heart is smoking cigarettes. It is proved that smoking directly interacts and make people even more prone to get a heart attack. What is more, it must be emphasized that smoking is also responsible for other numerous health problems.

CHOLESTEROL:
Further promoting the activity of cholesterol in the arteries is deficiency of exercise. This results from the fact that cholesterol is allowed to build up; exercising helps to get rid of the cholesterol deposits by burning them. So, if a person consumes foods containing high amounts of cholesterol, he or she should have enough exercise to burn it all away.

HYPERTENSION:
If a person does not exercise it aggravates other conditions as well. Hypertension is
a condition that results in heart attacks as well, and it is also hugely influenced by the physical activity of a person. If somebody does not have enough exercise and is forced to cope with stress, the arteries usually become even smaller due to the constriction as well as cholesterol deposits. This is a conditioned that is aggravated with no doubt.

OBESITY:
Taking into consideration such a condition of the the arteries, one would surely have to worry much  more about his or her condition if he or she suffers from obesity that is considered to be one of the unhealthiest conditions. It is probably much more worse than others because its effects are easily noticeable. People suffering from obesity have huge amount of fat on their bodies.

Except conditions mentioned above, there are others that increase a risk of heart disease, such as sleep patterns, duration of sleep, drugs that have side effects and so on.

In order to eliminate the risk of getting a heart attack because of any of the mentioned conditions, it is advised to adhere to healthy lifestyle. Eliminating causes of stress and depression, exercising, quitting smoking, avoiding foods rich in cholesterol as well as eating too much are all invaluable for keeping health conditions at bay.
