Every day various types of crimes are committed in the streets. Some of them are connected with some medical problems while others are connected with social aspects or factors. Definitely, man is a social animal who is influenced strongly by his inherit instincts to attack and take what is belongs to him. Identical attitude is recognizable in contemporary man, and in spite of the law cracking down on such crime males still dominate and control their female partners. Due to the fact that women are from time to time observed to be the weaker of the two sexes, they tend to suffer physically.

Men have the tendency to use their physical strength against women in order to make them obedient and submissive to their demands. Such a situation absolutely unfair, but that is the feature of a male-dominated world.

Domestic violence is unfortunately the most common type of crime committed in the United States. Indeed, almost 25 per cent of all crimes committed in this country are incidents of women being assaulted by their partners. Taking this under consideration, one might assert that since men are in good health, both physically and mentally, and can sustain jobs as perfectly normal citizens. And these are these ordinary men that seem to behave as the most violent social animals.

Some spouses are really unable to understand and believe how their husbands transform into possessive and dominating creatures at home just after they get married. Before getting married most men demonstrate a quite opposite side until the get what they want. This is a nature that is in fact quite opposite to the old animal instinct because animals would grab; social animals (men) do not grab.

As far as receiving what they want, men are very clever. However, once a man gets his way, as lots of women have experienced, he changes his colors. Of course, this does not refer to all men- saying that would absolutely be unfair. It only includes those men that are violent. There are lots of men in each society who use violence towards their wives and children and most of them are perfectly normal, without any serious medical disorders or anything to that influences their behavior. Therefore, one can say that the problem is definitely social related; nothing else can be blamed.

Analogously to married men abusing their women, boyfriends do the exactly the same; this is even more probable to happen when girls live under the same roof with their boyfriends. It must be noted here, that living together automatically creates a home for the couple. Being a man, like any other man, the unmarried male also starts to dominate. Of course, this does not happen in all cases, but it is certainly among the statistics that are worth analyzing.

When looking at unmarried men who also dominate in their relationships there is no doubt that the problem is uncontrolled. This problem is related to society, and it is extremely difficult for the society to solve it because there are many parts of the world where males dominate. Due to the fact that they are the stronger of the two sexes, they try to dominate. It is most apparent that it is an instinctive behavior and only tighter laws will be able to bring down the statistics of violence that are related to this matter.

In order for domestic abuse to be a medical related problem there would have been some sort of problems being faced by males medically or genetically speaking. However, the problem apparently lies in the fact that men feel inborn need to dominate. Moreover, the substantial majority of men around are stronger than women, and hence they are able to get their way. The widespread incidence of domestic violence makes it a social problem and not a medical one.
